Christmas!!!!!

Okay, so we need to get better at using this blog to communicate.

Or not...whatever you guys think.

But it is that time of the year again. Now that we have all pulled names, we are all going to be asking each other about what the other one wants or needs for the Christmas.

I like what we did before where everyone took a few minutes to post a few things about interests, requests, likes, dislikes, wants, needs, etc.

So let's start posting!

  1. Thank you kris for setting this up again. Rachel and I are trying to come up with something to put on here. We really are content with what we have and really are in need of much. We'll get some ideas on here sometime today (Sunday the 6th). Can't wait to see everyone!

  3. Robert has lost about 45 lbs, so he is looking at needing to get some new britches....his are starting to fall off. Robert is into Mtn Biking now, and he runs every morning with Mikey. Brandon is taller than both of us, loves cows, and loves his Xbox and computer games. He just received a small refrigerator for his room. Kristie loves reading, cross-stitch, anything to do with writing and teaching and coaching.

    1. Also, we are still in the process of getting stuff for our travel trailer...Kris loves supernatural, Brandon loves rock music, favorite color is orange, and is a Freshman in HS.

  4. We would like a movie night to take the kids to see Big Hero 6.

A gift card works best so we can choose the theater as we may not be here much longer....hopefully!

  5. Anything for Gary/Rachel and family would have to be shipped to their home in TX, or be something that can be shoved into their luggage to go home.

  6. Remember, you don't necessarily have to be specific, you can list interests/categories and let the others be creative.

  8. Rachel Likes Sewing (needs/wants in sewing) Large cutting mat and rotary cutter, material. She also likes E.L.F. brand makeup and nail polish. Everything girly. Scarves for winter or lighter weight for spring. Rachel needs Large size maternity shirts.

the kids like pretty much anything. Girls are really into frozen. Bradley really likes math and science and reading. Really likes all boy stuff.

Gary...my only few wants are expensive electronics. I already get anything I need or want when needed.
The only thing I can think of is a watch. Right now I wear a $5 walmart watch thats coming apart. Im good with $5 watches. Im kind of particular about them. I like the clasp or stretch metal band, not cloth or rubber. I like clock face and digital read out combined with back light or back glow. I really can't think of anything else

OR as a family, we like movie nights in a gift card form as well. We have Dollar theaters here to get more for our money and we have dinner theaters where they serve a full menu inside your theater as you watch.

Honestly anything you can think of we would love. It's the thought that counts for us.

  9. For Dad, he never met a tool he did't love. He has mentioned a few magnetic tipped screwdrivers, or an adjustable crescent wrench with insulated handle, stetson aftershave, or yummys to eat like chocolate turtles. For me, I love to read, so an Amazon gift card or movie tix, or resturaunt cards, or anything really. maybe an IOU to detail the inside of my car. Hehehe. Cant wait for Christmas to spend time with family, or visit by Skype with loved ones who will not be here. Love you all
